As a New York City native I grew up witnessing the power of movement and ambient chaos in a way only New York could offer. When I was 12, a kid from the neighborhood took a photo of me dunking. After seeing the print I went home, picked up my sister’s 35mm camera and never saw my city the same.
From photography, a passion for video emerged while studying at Yale where I was recognized for the documentary “Bridging Waters” about the first peace park in the Middle East. Soon after I was hired by the university to restructure their orientation programs around original films I would write, direct and edit.
After graduating, video allowed me to travel the world; working in Hong Kong and all throughout South East Asia. I always returned to New York City where for the last 9 years I am known for my work with the Brooklyn Nets, Spike Lee, The NBA and most recently SLAM. I emphasize the story behind the brand - whether it’s a jewelry startup in Singapore or a TV spot for the Brooklyn Nets, my goal is to capture the soul of a brand and share it.
